Add salt to your pool, recommended salt level 3500 – 5000 ppm.

Add stabiliser if needed, recommended level 40-80 ppm.

Place the Sun-Chlor Solar-Powered Pool Chlorinator in your pool.

When swimming, remove the SUN-CHLOR Solar-Powered Chlorinator from the pool and store safely away from sunlight.

Or continue to make chlorine by placing your SUN-CHLOR in a bucket of pool water in sunlight, away from the pool. After swimming, place the SUN-CHLOR back in the pool and empty the bucket of water into your pool.

The recommended salt level for the Sun-Chlor Solar-Powered Pool Chlorinator is 3500 - 5000 ppm. The chart below is provided to help you determine how much salt is needed to reach the recommended levels. To ensure chlorine production, it is recommended that the salt level be increased to 5000ppm when the minimum salt level of 3500ppm is reached. (Note: the calculation will adjust salt to 5000ppm)

Always check the stabiliser level when checking salt. These levels will most likely decline together, use the chart to determine how much stabiliser must be added to raise the level to correct ppm. Ideal level is between 40-80ppm. (Note: the calculation will adjust stabiliser to 80ppm)
